Ganesh Sivamani
Hello! My name is Ganesh Sivamani, and I am a Research Associate working at the Centre for Social and Economic Progress (CSEP) in New Delhi. I am a part of the Non-Fuel Mining in India team, with the goal of providing techno-economic policy suggestions to simultaneously enable sustainable economic growth and provide for the holistic welfare of mining-affected communities. I also work on modelling the impacts of climate change and mitigation policies on the economy, households, and the environment, using the input-output and social accounting matrix frameworks.
My research interests also include environmental engineering and sustainability with a focus on green energy solutions, particularly wind power. I graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Master's of Engineering (Honours) degree, having specialised in Energy, Sustainability, and the Environment and Civil Engineering.
